Back to the roots with Roetz

More than a year ago, during one of my University minors, Sustainable Product Development, I had a short case study of Roetz-bikes' product line. Already then they were industry leading innovators and pioneers setting an outstanding example of circular design, by now they are reshaping our cycling and consumer habits by offering one bike for one life! #notimetowaste

This photo collection was produced at their factory located in the heart of Amsterdam, therefore during the photoshoot I got an insight into the process of making the Roetz-bikes. Additionally to their efforts of upcycling every possible material, their team also consists of men and women with poor job prospects, for whatever reason. "We believe that everyone has valuable skills, even if these are hidden beneath the surface."
